The Black Bear JamboreeThe Black Bear Jamboree is an $10 Million Dollar High-Flying Musical Dinner Revue. To see our famous Black Bears, of course! Legend has it that once a year in the Great Smoky Mountains, Black Bears gather in a secret place to sing, dance, and eat their “favorite food!” There is only one show in town that keeps that legend alive: the $10 million dollar Black Bear Jamboree Dinner & Show! This show has it all! Great musical variety includes Country, Bluegrass, Broadway Show Tunes, Patriotic songs, Oldies, and Gospel music. Gorgeous costumes, impressive sets, beautiful dancers with well trained, pleasing voices, and grrreat, big talking bears make your dinner experience memorable. From the lobby to the stage, every visitor is treated like a part of the family. The Smoky Mountain themed lobby and gift shop bring back memories of fishing trips with Grandpa, and camping in the mountains. It all starts with a huge, country feast. Our Certified Executive Chef and the team prepare a dinner that would satisfy the hungriest bear in the mountains. To whet your appetite, Creamy Vegetable Soup and Fresh Baked Bread are served. Southern Style Roast Chicken and Hickory Pit Barbeque Ribs are served with Buttery Corn on the Cob, a Vegetable Medley, and Herb Seasoned Potatoes. Top off the delight with our Signature Dessert. Wash it down with all the coffee, tea, or Coke products you can drink! While dining, enjoy the sounds of Live Bluegrass and Country Music performed by the Black Bear Jamboree Band. These talented entertainers communicate their love for the Mountains and their audience and make the show fun for everyone. Get swept into the legend of the Black Bear Jamboree as our Camp Counselor takes a troop of hikers into the Smokies in search of the legendary bear celebration! The hikers (who are really professional dancers and singers) interact with “Anima-tronic” bears as they weave together the legend. It’s a Broadway style musical revue that is fun to watch, and the entertainment variety includes something for every age group. When all is said and done, through the use of multi-media and laser technology, everyone realizes that the world is a beautiful place. It’s okay to imagine that Black Bears sing and dance in the woods, and even the most diverse creatures (bears & humans or nice bears & grumpy bears) can share great times! It’s a truly exciting, entertaining, and heart warming show. Black Bear Jamboree Dinner & Show is open year-round with shows at 5:00 and 8:00 nightly.
